Benfica Stadium Luxury Flats

SE2P executed the stability project for Lot 4 (2nd phase), located in the Benfica Urbanization, Luciana Stegagno Picchio street, parish of São Domingos de Benfica, in Lisbon.

Developer: Libertas - Real Estate Group
Client: MetaloViana
Year: 2015/2016
Building Area:
15.630 m2

The work is built on a reinforced concrete structure, partially executed between 2007 and 2009, which was interrupted after the buried structures were executed. This phase of work known as the first phase included the execution of 6 buried floors intended for parking and a slab of floor 0 to the street Luciana Stegagno Picchio, which currently supports the walks that allow pedestrian and public communication through the lot .In the current phase - 2nd phase - the promoter opted to elaborate an architecture project more in line with the new needs of the real estate market. The consequence is a fractionation of the dwellings very different from the one that was foreseen in phase 1, with the inevitable consequence of the incompatibility with the positioning of pillars of the already executed structure, in the floors destined for habitation. In this context, we decided to design a differentiated structural solution from floor 1 downwards - compatible with existing one - and from floor 1 upwards - compatible with the architecture of the 2nd phase. In floor 1 a load transfer slab is provided that supports the pillars of the upper floors and directs the actions to the pillars of the lower floors. In order to reduce the actions due to the weight of the new structure and thus reduce the efforts of scaffolding of the load transfer slab, a metallic and mixed structure was conceived, where the pillars are metallic and the beams and slabs are mixed steel-concrete . The ladder box cores are made of reinforced concrete.
