The roofing structure, based on the Architecture project (Mörschel Arquitectos), has two levels: one that serves as a cover for benches and other areas on a lower level, and a higher one covering the playing area.The structural solution can be divided essentially into 4 groups:
1) Longitudinal and transversal trunks of limit of the game zone that overcome spans of 48.0m and 28.6 meters, respectively;
2) Transverse trusses that span a span of about 28.6 meters that support the coverage of the playing area;
3) Metal beams in commercial H-profiles that support the covering of the benches and other areas of the building.
4) Auxiliary support structures: in cold formed profiles on facades and in IPE hot rolled profiles in roofs.The peripheral trellises have a height of about 7 meters, and a plate is expected to exist. The transverse trusses (which support the secondary structure of the cover) have a height of about3.25m, which allows the fulfillment of a free height of 12.5m (minimum free height for volleyball practice) in the play area even with the implementation of a scoreboard (video cube).In the case of the auxiliary support structure of the roofs, due to the fire resistance requirement of R90 for these elements, IPE profiles were applied. | |
